Product Overview
This road marking removal jetting machine adopts ultra-high pressure water jet technology to strip road markings. Specifically, it can deliver up to 1500bar water pressure.
Unlike conventional options, such as mechanical, chemical and manual removal methods, hydro blasting will not damage asphalt or pavement. Moreover, the whole process is dust-free and eco-friendly, and it leaves behind a clean road surface. For this reason, this road marking removal jetting machine has become the preferred solution for road authorities.
The machine connects the ultra-high pressure pump unit to a hand-push cleaning trolley via high-pressure hose. The rotating high-pressure water jet impacts, shears and breaks the structure of road markings. As you push the trolley forward, the marking layer is flushed away while keeping the original pavement intact. We also supply other high pressure water jet cleaning machines, such as industrial high pressure cleaners and tank cleaning machines.

Working Principle
This hydro jet road marking remover relies on ultra-high pressure water flow produced by the high-pressure pump set. Firstly, water travels through the high-pressure hose to the hand-push trolley. Then, it sprays out at high velocity through rotating nozzles. As a result, the ultra-high pressure water jet generates impact force and shear force to break down traffic marking structures. Operators push the trolley along the road surface, so markings get fully stripped while the underlying pavement remains intact.
In addition, the final cleaning performance depends on four key factors: jet pressure, trolley travel speed, target distance and rotary joint speed. Therefore, operators can tweak these parameters based on the real thickness of road markings, so as to strike a good balance between cleaning quality and working efficiency.
